Waiting for the Bunny…Hop

Decor is changing like a whirlwind around here. St. Patty’s Day – out – and Easter – in! Without further ado, here’s the do…

Let’s start with the mantle. Yes, switching it up! I had some glittery eggs in my stock pile of Easter decor. I just put those in a cute yellow bowl. Then I bought a couple of adorable ducks from one of my favorite re-purposed shops.

They add so much texture to the mantle! I also “lightened” up my candles (pillar candles out, tapers in).

Next was on to the buffet.

I did a repeat of last year’s decor: mosiac vase my Sister made me years ago with glittery eggs and a fake-moss bunny, then added a yellow egg bowl filled with fake rose petals.

Moving on…next came the dining table centerpiece. I dressed up a birds nest with eggs by putting it on top of a pedastal and covered with a cloche.

I put that on top of a slate cheese board that I had received for a gift. And all that sits atop a green place mat that I just purchased recently. I always do a centerpiece that can be easily moved, so the place mat was a must for no scratching!

We’re also hosting a small Easter brunch and I’ve got some ideas for that. But you’ll have to wait to see 🙂

How about you? Decorating for Easter too?
